When it goes off balance
When the 20 goes off balance, family history weighs instead of supporting.
An old grudge against a parent comes back at every celebration, and you catch yourself repeating the couple or the angry scenes you had sworn to avoid. Comparison sets in among brothers and sisters: who received the most, who helped the most. You lecture your elders, push your views harshly, and put up poorly with the slightest criticism. Revolt also turns against the framework: the boss, the children’s school, the state. Papers get lost, tax returns go out late, fines and reminders pile up. These drifts often follow a conflict-ridden inheritance, a grief poorly lived through, a family falling-out, or a change imposed that you did not choose.
