Definition

What is esotericism?

  • The word

“Esoteric” comes from the Greek esôterikos, “from within”: knowledge reserved for a circle of initiates, as opposed to teaching open to all, called exoteric.

  • The practices

Today the word refers to symbolic practices: numbers, tarot cards, the stars, angels. Each offers a framework for reading a person or a moment, with its own rules and traditions.

  • On Versana

Each practice is presented with its named method. Traditions are reported as they are handed down; no reading announces the future.

Your questions

Frequently asked questions about the practices

Which practice should you start with?

Numerology: it only needs your name and date of birth, and each of your numbers is calculated step by step. If you only have your date, the Destiny Matrix and the tarot birth card read it with the 22 Major Arcana of the tarot.

Do the practices give the same result?

No: they are different frameworks for reading, each with its own method. Versana says which one it follows and shows every calculation; they complement each other more than they contradict each other.

What astrology is on Versana?

It is online: the 12 signs, rising signs, the horoscope, zodiac compatibility, planets, houses, aspects, the Moon, and Chinese astrology, each position calculated and shown, with no predictions.

What is esotericism?

The word comes from the Greek esôterikos, “from within”: originally, knowledge reserved for initiates. Today it refers to a set of symbolic practices, such as numerology, tarot, astrology, or angelology, each offering a framework for reading a person or a moment.

Numerology, tarot, astrology: what is the difference?

They do not start from the same information. Numerology turns a name and a date into numbers; astrology places the planets from the date, time, and place of birth; tarot starts from a question and from cards that are drawn or calculated. The table on this page compares them side by side.

Can you combine several practices?

Yes, and Versana already does: the tarot birth card and the Destiny Matrix read a date with the tarot cards, and each mirror hour is connected to an angel and, from 01:00 to 22:00, to a card. The readings complement each other; each simply keeps its own method.

Do these practices predict the future?

No, not here. They are frameworks for reading: they describe tendencies, questions to ask yourself, periods to go through, without announcing any event. Traditions that speak of messages or signs are reported as such, and the decision is always yours.
