Free love tarot: the 5-card spread
The love tarot reading sheds light on a relationship, or the wish to have one: what you feel and how you experience it.
Not a prediction: cards drawn at random, read according to tradition, to reflect on, not to follow blindly.

What each position says
Positions for your own view, for the other person’s, and for what passes between you, read as avenues for reflection and never as verdicts.
You
Your way of being in the situation.
The other person
The other person’s way of being, as your spread shows it.
What connects you
What connects you.
What blocks
What holds back or complicates.
A lead
A path to explore.
How to read it
Look first
Look at your own card first, before the ones that concern the other person. What do you feel in front of this image: gentleness, restraint, momentum? Your first reaction is already information about how you love.
Connect the positions
Connect the positions to see what answers or contradicts. Two close cards can speak of harmony; two distant cards, of a gap to name with kindness. No pairing says who is right.
Keep one question
Choose a question about what you can do, say, or understand, rather than about what the other person thinks. It brings the reading back to what is within your reach: your listening, your limits, your wishes.

Frequently asked questions: love tarot
How does the love tarot work?
You shuffle the deck, then the cards are laid on the positions of the spread. Read first the one that speaks of you, then the other person’s, then what passes between you. Each card leads to its own page, to read calmly for a deeper look.
Do I need to ask a question?
A question beats vagueness. Choose it around how you experience the bond: “what am I looking for here?” Avoid questions about other people’s thoughts, which no card can answer.
What should I do with a reversed card?
An upside-down card often speaks of a restrained feeling, an inner impulse, or a word not yet spoken. It does not indicate a refusal from the other person; above all it opens the question of what remains unresolved for you.
Is the reading reliable?
The reading does not look into anyone else’s heart and does not predict any encounter. It serves as a mirror: the images put words to what you already feel. Keep what resonates, set the rest aside.
