Meaning of the Table

The Table speaks of what is shared. The card evokes the meal taken together, the open house, hospitality, and those moments when you take the time to come together. It holds for a family dinner as well as for a break among colleagues or a gathering of friends.

On the Venus side, it brings out the warmth of welcome. Around a table, people talk differently: grudges soften, ideas circulate, bonds are remade. It invites you to invite, to cook, to share, without seeking perfection.

Its reverse side is appearance: polishing the staging at the expense of presence, or wearing yourself out hosting without ever letting yourself be hosted.

The Table in your life

In love

Between two people, the Table speaks of simple moments together: a prepared meal, an evening without screens, the pleasure of reconnecting.

At work

In a team, the card evokes a team’s conviviality: a lunch, a shared break, a meeting place that relaxes exchanges.

The Table in a reading

In its position

The Table brings the question closer to a gathering: a warm, shared moment will help you see more clearly.

Venus series

Bonds: affection, pleasure, harmony, family life.

Pleasures, Peace, Union, Family, Love, Passions

The Belline cards help you look at a situation from another angle: they predict nothing, and the choice remains yours.

Its place in the deck

The Table bears the number 30 and sits in the Venus series, which extends from card 25 to card 31. Pleasures, Peace, and Union are among its sister cards, with whom it shares a taste for bonds and pleasant moments. Versana sees in it hospitality in all its forms.

Reflecting on the Table

A question

With whom would you like to share a meal, with no agenda other than being together?

A gesture

Invite a person to lunch or coffee this week, and leave the phones aside for the occasion.

Where the sources disagree

  • Tone of the cards: A ranking set by the site from the name of each card, with no old source: 21 supportive cards, 14 demanding, 18 neutral. It gives the tone of a reading, never an answer or a yes or no.
  • Dominant series: When one planet comes up more often than the others in a reading (at least two cards), its series colors the interpretation. A modern reading rule, described by several guides; cards outside the series are not part of the count.
  • Images of the cards: The drawings attributed to the mage Edmond (died 1881) are old, but the cards published since 1961 and the Mucem photographs are not under a free license. The site draws its own pictograms and reproduces no card.
