Meaning of Beauty

Beauty speaks of harmony. The card judges no physique: it celebrates a taste for beauty in the broad sense, that of a fitting gesture, a well-kept place, a piece of music, a well-made work. It encourages you to surround your life with what uplifts.

With Jupiter, the planet of breadth, it lends generosity to the aesthetic sense. Taking care of your surroundings, your relationships, and your projects, with elegance and attention, is a way of respecting yourself and others.

Its downside is the facade: giving too much weight to appearances, or putting off what would make your daily life gentler.

Beauty in your life

In love

In an emotional bond, Beauty speaks of delicate gestures and small attentions that brighten daily life: a tender word, a cared-for setting.

At work

In your work, the card values careful craftsmanship, the look of a project, and the pleasure of collaborating in a pleasant setting.

Beauty in a reading

In its position

Beauty invites you to make room for harmony: a carefully chosen detail or a more pleasant setting will give the question some momentum.

Where the sources disagree

  • Tone of the cards: A ranking set by the site from the name of each card, with no old source: 21 supportive cards, 14 demanding, 18 neutral. It gives the tone of a reading, never an answer or a yes or no.
  • Dominant series: When one planet comes up more often than the others in a reading (at least two cards), its series colors the interpretation. A modern reading rule, described by several guides; cards outside the series are not part of the count.
  • Images of the cards: The drawings attributed to the mage Edmond (died 1881) are old, but the cards published since 1961 and the Mucem photographs are not under a free license. The site draws its own pictograms and reproduces no card.
