The sky of December
Cold Moon, or Long Night Moon: two names tied to the month of the winter solstice, when Paris sees the Sun for only a little over eight hours a day.
It is in December that the full moon reaches its greatest heights, nearly 68° above the southern horizon, and spends the most time above our heads. It crosses Gemini or Taurus, among the bright stars of winter. Around the 13th or 14th, the Geminids offer one of the richest meteor showers of the year, much less visible when the Moon is full.
