The sky of August
Sturgeon Moon, after a fish of the lakes and rivers of northern North America; other lists call it the Black Cherries Moon.
In August, the full moon climbs a little higher again, around 30° in height in Paris, between Capricorn and Aquarius, two constellations without a bright star. It is also the month of the Perseids, whose peak returns each year around the 12th or 13th: when the full moon falls near that date, its light lets you see only the brightest shooting stars. In the west, Arcturus sinks; in the east, the Great Square of Pegasus begins to rise.
