Karmic tail 6-14-8: Dictator
A considerable influence, often exercised behind the scenes, which turns beneficial when pride gives way to listening to others.
- kindly influence
- humility
- measured power
Karmic tail 6-14-8: Dictator at a glance
You have stature: a steady presence, a broad view, and a talent for acting quietly. Behind the scenes, projects move forward thanks to you, and others will carry them onto the stage. Put at the service of creation, this quiet power builds lasting things and inspires trust in those who work beside you.
The two enemies are pride and the urge to bend others to your will, by constraint or criticism, to the point of humiliating without seeing it. You sometimes swing between submitting and crushing. Control, endured or exerted, can be confided to listening services: see the help offered below this text.

What this karmic tail tells
In this life, according to the method, an almost unlimited power returns to the person’s hands, in various forms.
In this life
The common thread: a personality of great strength and strong influence, to the point that their words can weigh on world affairs. Their existence nevertheless remains peaceful and simple, well below their real standing, as if they wanted to conceal the extent of their means and their sway. Yet their leadership energy is considerable. With great assurance, they act after reflection, speak in a measured voice, and stay out of quarrels. They prefer to work behind the scenes, like a gray eminence, rather than as a public figure: others take center stage. They advance quietly, without those around them noticing, and the fruit of their work is felt across entire nations, even across the whole international community. No one then suspects where these large-scale changes began.
The lesson
The method reminds the person that it is up to them to put their power to the service of destruction or of creation. They gain by paying more attention to those around them and by ceasing to underestimate their abilities. Their two inner adversaries are an excessive pride and the temptation of despotism, that burning wish to bend others to their will. Gentle influence remains a precious tool, provided they always weigh, before using it, the consequences their actions will bring.
The story of the past, according to the method
For the method, these three numbers point to a past existence in which the soul enjoyed considerable authority and influence, and drew great advantage from its position. Then one day it became impossible to rule as before, on the same scale and in the open, as it had been used to. No longer giving orders or controlling the course of events caused it real suffering.
The script: Crushing
A way of living that swings between two roles, that of the victim and that of the tyrant.
In both roles, the person tries to obtain affection and warmth through domination, coercion, and humiliation.
The signals
- A tyrannical parent
- Humiliating situations
- A tendency to bend to other people’s expectations
- Physical or psychological violence endured
- A fight for justice
- Will and principles imposed on others
- Harsh criticism and judgments of others
- Impatience, aggressiveness, a taste for conflict
- Cynicism and skepticism
- Indifference, a hardened heart
- Abuse of authority
- Relationships in which you crush or are crushed
- Neither self-confidence nor faith in higher forces
- Refusal of any belief
- Heart and reason at war
- Remorse and guilt
The new strategy
The new strategy is to choose, each time, a force that builds.
You look closely at the people around you and stop minimizing what they are worth. You watch for two temptations: swelling pride and the need to impose your will. You favor gentle influence, and before each use of your power, you take the time to examine the possible consequences for everyone it will touch. Authority then becomes creative rather than crushing.
The steps
- Before every important decision, write down its possible consequences for each person concerned
- Ask each week for the opinion of someone whose ideas you used to underestimate
- Spot a situation where you impose your will and let it go
- Replace an order with a suggestion in a discussion
- Choose a project where your influence serves to build
In everyday life
In a team meeting, you already have the solution, and a younger colleague suggests something else, clumsily.
You could settle it with a word, and everyone would bow. Instead, ask them to elaborate, then let the group debate it. Keep your opinion for the end, as a question. The idea chosen may be theirs, and the team will remember it as a sign of respect.
A symbolic reading of the Destiny Matrix: food for thought about yourself, never a verdict or an established fact.

The card of energy 8Arcana 8 as a life lesson
The same energy, in another position of the matrix
How is it calculated?
Start with the date.
The day gives a, the month b, the year c; any total above 22 is reduced to the sum of its digits. Fictional example, March 14, 1987: a = 14, b = 3, c = 1 + 9 + 8 + 7 = 25, reduced to 7. The life lesson d = 14 + 3 + 7 = 24, reduced to 6. The center e = 14 + 3 + 7 + 6 = 30, reduced to 3. Then d1 = d + e = 9, and d2 = d + d1 = 15. The tail reads from top to bottom: 9-15-6. Its name: “World of passions and tales.”
Frequently asked questions: karmic tail 6-14-8: Dictator
Is this tail meant to make you a tyrant?
No. It describes a great power, which can serve creation as well as domination. The choice is yours, day after day, in every everyday exchange. Many of the people concerned are very gentle in how they use their influence, because they have seen the damage that authority without listening causes around them.
How can I spot my own harshness?
Watch the reactions: sudden silences, eyes that look away, people who do not dare contradict you. Ask someone you trust how your way of being comes across. You do not have to condemn yourself: it is enough to correct, one conversation at a time, with more curiosity about the other and about how they feel beside you.
Why is gentle influence emphasized?
Because it gets lasting results without harming anyone. Convincing, inviting, and setting an example connects you with others instead of pushing them away. Before acting, weigh what your decision changes for each person: this reflex turns your power into a resource everyone appreciates, and nobody dreads.
