The sky of February
Snow Moon, or Hunger Moon in other almanac lists: these names would evoke the still-white paths and the winter stores running low.
The days are already growing by more than three minutes each day in Paris, but the full moon still climbs between 50 and 60°. Leo rises in the east early in the evening, recognizable by the sickle that forms his head and by Regulus, his main star; on the opposite side, Orion tips toward the west, followed by Sirius, the brightest object of the night after the Moon and a few planets, low above the southern horizon.
