Karmic tail 9-3-21: Jailer at a glance

A strength

From this experience remain a sense of organization, an ease in spotting other people’s needs, and a real ability to put resources at others’ disposal. When help is offered with no ulterior motive, it changes lives, and the person becomes the one people return to with gratitude, without fear or calculation.

Something to watch

The trap is discreet: doing a favor so big that the other feels obliged, lending knowing you will never be repaid, then keeping count. This gentle control makes the people you love dependent. If pressure, endured or exerted, worries you, listening services exist: find them at the bottom of the page.

What this karmic tail tells

In this life, the chance to dominate returns, but by roundabout routes: money, arrangements, maneuvers.

In this life

The person knowingly lends to someone who, they know, will never be able to repay. Or they do such a considerable favor that nothing comparable can be offered in return. The recipients feel bound, and this debt creates a deep energetic attachment between them and the person. The person draws from it an impression of power and superiority: under the appearance of kindness, the help becomes a tool of influence and a way of obtaining more. This can happen without being aware of it; the effect remains the same. According to the method, the wheel turns one day: money, comfort, authority, and standing in society may disappear. The person then claims what is owed from those they once “spoiled,” but these people have understood what lay behind that generosity and move away. The more the person insists and hardens their tone, the more their situation deteriorates. If the emotional pressure exerted on others continues, the method indicates that health may in turn decline, to the point of severely restricting mobility.

The lesson

The first rule set out by the method: do not help someone who has asked for nothing. Help is reserved for truly serious situations, and it is given expecting nothing in return, neither money nor recognition. Even when their own affairs are going badly, the person inwardly erases every debt owed to them. Those they have supported are released from any moral obligation, and the person stops claiming more than the return already obtained. Finally, they avoid placing anyone under their dependence in order to savor the upper hand it brings.

The script: Subjugation

A way of living driven by a taste for domination and a desire to rise higher than others.

The person often finds themselves in a position to manipulate, restrict, direct, and watch over others, then ends up trapped in turn when circumstances rein them in.

The signals

  • Ties of mutual dependence
  • Relatives subjected to prohibitions and an overwhelming authority
  • Surveillance carried out within the family
  • Physical or psychological violence
  • Looking down on others from above
  • Others humiliated and put down
  • Outbursts of anger and aggression
  • Relatives affected by illness
  • Personal health that holds you back
  • Restricted freedoms, loans to repay
  • Relatives who are manipulated
  • People treated as resources to be used
  • Career advancement at others’ expense
  • Fear of falling ill
  • Fear of running short of money
  • Fear of losing one’s possessions
  • Run-ins with the administration or the tax authorities
  • Others drawn into ties of dependence
  • Pleasure in directing, controlling, and restricting others
  • Circumstances that keep shutting you in
  • Domineering parents who watch every move
  • A thirst for power never satisfied
  • Power used abusively
  • Difficulty influencing those around you appropriately

The new strategy

The new strategy is to help only on request, and without counting.

Before offering a loan or a favor, you wait for a clear request and check that the situation is truly serious. What is given is given with no strings attached, material or moral. You make peace with your debtors, even in hard times, and give back their freedom to those you have supported. No relationship is built on dependence anymore: the pleasure of holding someone gives way to an exchange between equals.

The steps

  • Wait for an explicit request before any loan or favor
  • Reserve your help for truly serious situations
  • List your debtors and inwardly erase each debt
  • Stop reminding anyone of what you have given them
  • Spot a relationship where the other person depends on you and give them back their autonomy

In everyday life

A colleague is going through a rough patch and you cover their expenses without being asked.

A few weeks later, you catch yourself thinking they certainly owe you a favor. This small calculation is the signal. Pick the thread back up: was the gesture really free? If so, wipe the debt from your mind. If not, simply say what you expect, or stop offering.

A symbolic reading of the Destiny Matrix: food for thought about yourself, never a verdict or an established fact.

Frequently asked questions: karmic tail 9-3-21: Jailer

Should I stop helping others?

No, but it is better to reserve help for serious situations and offer it when it is asked for. Helping is sometimes letting someone find their own solution. And when you give, do it without expecting money or gratitude, the way you leave a gift on a table. The pleasure of giving then stays whole, and nobody owes you anything anymore.

How can I wipe out a debt someone owes me?

Mentally, through a deliberate act: you acknowledge that what you gave is given, and you free the other from any obligation. Some people write it on a sheet of paper that they tear up. It brings relief, and the relationship gains in simplicity, because it no longer rests on an invisible ledger, kept in silence by one of the two.

Does this tail make me domineering?

It describes a slope, not a character. Many people marked by it are generous people who had not noticed the effect of certain gestures. Observing it without judgment is already a big step: you can then choose differently, gesture by gesture, and give everyone their full freedom, yourself included, without waiting for proof or thanks.
