Aquarius Sun, Leo rising: the meaning
The Leo of August and the Aquarius of February face each other across the zodiac, two fixed signs, fire and air.
Helios presides in the east; Saturn, backed by Uranus for contemporaries, at the core. A remarkable fact: the ruler of the first impression is in detriment in the sign of the foundation. The person arrives with panache: a well-chosen outfit, a sincere compliment, a story told with talent before an audience that forms without their having sought it.
The natal Sun disappears in the west as the child appears, in the 7th house: the foundation reveals itself in contact with others. This combination builds itself in partnerships, associations, alliances. They may found a collective with a friend, run an organization as a pair, or live in a very committed couple. They need someone across from them to know who they are, and a common project to show their full measure.
The opposition of the two fixed signs creates tension between the I and the we. Leo wants to be recognized personally, Aquarius insists that only the group matters: the person may demand equality while suffering when their contribution goes unnoticed. They may also be as stubborn in their ideas as in their pride. The challenge would be to accept both needs, without shame.
