Sagittarius Sun, Aquarius rising: the meaning
February and December greet each other at sixty degrees: the wind pushes the flame.
Aquarius is fixed, it holds to its ideas; Sagittarius is mutable, it makes them travel. Saturn holds the east for the ancients, Uranus for the moderns; Zeus holds the core. The person appears free, likable, a little off-center; they talk about a shared-housing project, a solidarity trip, an invention that would change the daily life of thousands. Their ideas surprise, then convince.
Eleventh house for the Sun: companions, circles, hopes. This combination thrives in collectives: associations, international networks, citizens’ movements, online communities. They have friends everywhere, often from very different cultures, and dream of projects that bring people together. Their hopes are wide, generous, turned toward all humanity. They readily connect strangers who share the same dream.
The flip side would be distance. Aquarius keeps emotions at arm’s length, Sagittarius runs toward the horizon: the person may neglect loved ones in favor of great causes, or stay in ideas without embodying them. Leo, in the west, would call for warmth; its representatives remind them of the value of personal attachments. A dinner for two is sometimes worth more than a big meeting.
