Scorpio Sun, Aquarius rising: the meaning
November and February cross at a right angle: idea against passion, two fixed signs equally stubborn.
Saturn traditionally rules the horizon, Uranus for the moderns; Mars and Pluto reign over the depths. At the first meeting, one finds a free spirit, a little distant, who defends a new idea, mentions a cooperative project, and politely declines conventions. Their convictions are firm and owned.
The Sun culminates in the 10th house; public action moves to the foreground. This combination wants to transform the world, or at least its own field: reform an institution, innovate in a technology, defend a cause to the end. It has a vision and the will to carry it out, even if it means upsetting habits. Its reputation is built on its convictions. Its adversaries rarely underestimate it twice.
This square of the obstinate comes at a cost: no one yields. Aquarius holds to its ideas, Scorpio to its decisions; the person may break with a colleague, a friend, or an organization rather than give way on a principle. They sometimes appear cold on the surface and burning at the core. Leo in the west would advocate warmth; its representatives, expansive, help them express what they feel.
