Sagittarius Sun, Pisces rising: the meaning
December and March cross at a right angle: the wave and the flame, both mobile.
One and the same king governs them for the ancients, Zeus, master here of the Sun as of the east; the moderns add Neptune. Tradition saw in these two homes of Jupiter two faces of the same goodness: the faith that sets out to conquer the world, the compassion that welcomes everything. The person seems gentle, dreamy, receptive. They listen with a disarming compassion.
The Sun enthroned at the zenith, 10th house: public vocation comes to the fore. Fulfilling a mission is their aim, often in the service of an ideal: running a humanitarian organization, teaching, creating an artistic work, defending a cause. They may become an inspiring public figure, known for their generosity and vision. They inspire by example more than by speeches.
The square has its flip side: vagueness. Pisces dreams, Sagittarius promises; the person may commit to projects too vast, neglect practical details, believe unrealistic promises. They may also scatter themselves among too many causes. The Spike, in the west, would advocate realism; its representatives turn dreams into action plans. A rigorous partner would be precious to them.
