Leo Sun, Aries rising: the meaning
Aries is cardinal, it begins; Leo is fixed, it settles in and radiates.
A fire trine links them: the same vocabulary of confidence, the same taste for movement. Mars rules the horizon, the Sun the Sun sign: two hot planets that care little for half measures. You first meet someone in a hurry, direct, who holds out a hand before the introductions are over.
Once the conversation is under way, another layer appears. Leo wants what it undertakes to last and to look like it: an amateur theater club restarted from scratch, a shop decorated with care, a neighborhood party everyone remembers. The rising sign supplies the push at the start, the Sun the perseverance and the flair. Loved ones benefit from a real generosity: this person pays the bill, lends the car, and defends an absent friend.
The downside lies in the same warmth. Two fires together tolerate contradiction poorly; a criticism of the way a project is run can be felt as a public humiliation, and the retort comes too fast. Pride sometimes keeps this person from admitting a mistake, even a minor one. Libra on the descendant would point to the path of balance: more measured partners, able to temper, whom the person would do well to listen to before deciding.
