Leo Sun, Gemini rising: the meaning
Air fans the flame: sixty degrees separate Gemini from Leo, a sextile reputed to be easy.
Leo is fixed, Gemini mutable: one holds the note, the other improvises. In the east rules the winged messenger, at the core the royal star. From the first words, you meet a funny, quick person, who asks three questions in one sentence and remembers everyone’s first name.
Leo gives direction to this agility. Where a pure Gemini would flit about, this combination knows how to return to a favorite subject, often something they created or defended. Hosting a local radio show, writing a column, showing foreign friends around their city: they like to pass things on while being seen. Cousins, next-door neighbors, brothers and sisters make a ready-made audience; the 3rd place, which houses the Sun, would strengthen this circle further.
The downside would be speech that seeks effect. To keep attention, the person rounds off a story, interrupts, laughs a little too loudly at their own finds. They take contradiction badly in public, even over a detail. Sagittarius on the descendant would invite looking, in others, for a broader perspective than their own, and listening to a story without wanting to top it.
