North Node in Scorpio: the meaning
Nothing material in this point: it marks the place where the Moon, on its tilted orbit, passes north of the ecliptic.
In Scorpio, it would designate a demanding direction. Its opposite, the South Node in Taurus, would refer to what you already know how to do: building comfort, attaching to what you own, counting on duration, resisting change. Scorpio would propose the reverse: committing to depth, accepting the vulnerability of sharing, transforming instead of protecting yourself.
In practice, this axis shows up in telling hesitations. A cozy job that has lost its flavor, kept year after year; an attic full of objects you no longer use; the sincere conversation with a parent, always put off. The Scorpio direction would be to cut, to empty out, to speak. It would also concern shared resources: opening a joint account, accepting a moral or material inheritance, trusting someone else’s money. The downside would be seeking intensity for its own sake, or permanent suspicion.
The Taurus of the South Node is no ball and chain: patience, practical sense, and loyalty give a foundation to these transformations. The modern reading would suggest leaning on this base to dare movement. Since this placement is generational, the house where it sits, determined with the birth time, would specify the field of letting go.
