North Node in Taurus: the meaning
Like all nodes, this one has neither mass nor light: it is a geometric crossing between the Moon’s trajectory and the Sun’s apparent one.
In Taurus, it points toward learning steadiness. The South Node in Scorpio would indicate what you handle without thinking: sensing hidden tensions, getting through upheavals, bonding very strongly or cutting off cleanly. The modern reading invites a shift of the center of gravity, from intensity toward inner security, from what is shared toward what truly belongs to you.
In practice, this can look like difficulty enjoying an uneventful period. A calm month at the office, and you go looking for the problem; a serene relationship, and a doubt creeps in about what is off. The Taurus direction would be to savor that calm and to invest in slow things: a regular savings plan, a garden, a manual skill. The downside would be turning it into a fortress, keeping a dull job out of sheer fear of change.
The Scorpio of the South Node remains useful: it brings a lucid eye to what others leave unsaid. But it would no longer have to lead the dance. A feature specific to this axis: it links the house of personal resources, the second, to the house of shared assets, the eighth, in the natural zodiac, which is why themes of money, value, and dependence often come up.
