The 3rd decan of Sagittarius: the meaning
Back at its starting point, the Chaldean series places Saturn at the end of Sagittarius, right after the Moon.
The triplicities match this third with Leo, the fire of summer, and with the Sun. On one side the planet of structure and long time, on the other the star of radiance: two ways of giving an outcome to the impulses of a sign known for its optimism, just as the year itself draws to a close.
With Saturn, one would describe a person who does not settle for dreaming of a trip around the world: she saves for three years, learns how her bike works, and prepares each stage. Her convictions become lasting projects, an association, a book, a school. With the Sun, she would bring those projects into the open, with generosity and a real talent for rallying people around a vision, even if it means taking the stage to defend it.
Saturn might slow the archer’s momentum, to the point of putting off the departure again and again; the Sun might push toward wanting to be recognized right away for what is still only an intention. Finding the right pace, neither too cautious nor too hasty, would be the challenge of this last third. A modest first step, taken now, would be worth more than a perfect plan never launched, and the most solid projects are often born of imperfect attempts.
