Sun opposition Moon: the meaning
The full moon rises just as the Sun sets: the two bodies sit at opposite edges of the sky.
Being born at that moment places the luminaries at the two ends of a single zodiacal axis, in two signs that complete each other. A Sun in Virgo and a Moon in Pisces, for example, would set attention to detail against the need to let go. The person feels both parts of themselves clearly, because the full moon lights everything up.
This opposition is often lived in alternation: periods turned toward action, others toward withdrawal; choices guided by reason, others by emotion. It is also lived out in relationships: the person is drawn to those who embody the pole they own least, and learns a great deal from them. Modern astrologers associate the full moon with awareness, with the ability to see things as a whole and name them.
The downside would be the inner tug-of-war. Swinging back and forth too much, you can feel doubled, or push the responsibility for your contradictions onto those around you. The way forward lies in integration: recognizing that both needs are legitimate, and giving each a place in the week, in the couple, in the job. Once tamed, this natal full moon would offer a rare sense of nuance.
