Moon opposition Venus: the meaning
Someone who feels fully themselves in a relationship and a little lost alone, who swings between a wish for a cocoon and a need to go out, to charm, to see people: the Moon-Venus opposition carries this double expectation.
A Moon in Aquarius facing a Venus in Leo, for example, would set the need for emotional independence against the desire to be admired. Because Venus always stays close to the Sun, this opposition often forms when the Moon is nearly full.
Their emotional needs are readily lived through relationships. They look in the other person for what completes them: stability if they feel fragile, whimsy if they feel too sensible. They are very attentive to what the other feels, sometimes to the point of forgetting themselves. Relationships take up an important place in their balance, and they learn a great deal about themselves through them, especially in breakups and reconciliations.
The risk would be emotional dependence, or an imbalance between giving and receiving. Expecting a partner to fill every gap, or devoting yourself without asking for anything: the opposition can freeze. Everything hinges on reciprocity. Acknowledging your own needs, expressing them, and agreeing to meet them yourself as well makes relationships freer and more balanced.
