Venus opposition Uranus: the meaning
A person who regularly falls in love with travelers, artists, people who do not stay, who lives relationships interrupted by sudden departures, who discovers one day that they too long for freedom: the Venus-Uranus opposition has this dynamic.
Venus and Uranus are at 180° here. A Venus in Scorpio facing a Uranus in Taurus, for example, would set a need for intense attachment against a taste for upsetting securities. Nearly every year, Venus thus passes to the opposite of slow Uranus.
The person often lives the need for freedom through their partners. They are drawn to independent, unpredictable, sometimes unavailable people. These relationships are exciting but unstable: sudden separations, reunions, uncertainty. They force the person to question their own relationship to freedom and attachment. With time, they can develop a great openness and a way of loving that lets the other breathe.
The whole trap is to delegate to the other their own wish for space, then suffer from that person’s independence. They then risk living in wait for a bond that slips away, or fleeing themselves for fear of being left. The challenge is to recognize within themselves the need for space and novelty, in order to choose free relationships out of taste rather than resignation.
