Mars opposition Uranus: the meaning
A person whose plans are regularly upended by unpredictable colleagues, who attracts rebels and free spirits, who finds themselves at the heart of sudden conflicts without having sought them: the Mars-Uranus opposition has this dynamic of shock.
The planet of action and the planet of rupture stand face to face. Mars in Scorpio facing Uranus in Taurus, for example, would set an intense, secretive will against a need to shake up securities. Mars in Sagittarius facing Uranus in Gemini would pit enthusiasm against a changeable curiosity.
Surprises often reach them through their relationships. They meet independent, provocative, sometimes unstable people who upset their plans. Sudden conflicts break out around them, sometimes for reasons that hardly concern them. These experiences force them to develop great responsiveness, to adapt quickly, and to defend their position in the face of imposed change. In time, they recognize that their attraction to these people reflects their own need for freedom.
The downside would be explosive reaction. Responding to every provocation, getting drawn into other people’s crises, or on the contrary shutting themselves into a defensive rigidity. It is up to them to bring to life within themselves the spirit of independence they admire or fear in others, in order to choose their own changes instead of enduring them.
