You do not necessarily seek the spotlight, but you like holding a share of real power, deciding behind the scenes, knowing the file better than anyone. Your career often goes through deep molts, radical departures followed by fresh starts.
Two planets hold the career here: Mars, the historical ruler of Scorpio, and Pluto, added by the moderns. Mars in the 1st house would make you the fighter of your own path; in the 8th, you would work with other people’s money or property.
