12th house in Scorpio: the meaning
A secret kept twenty years without fail, a detective novel devoured in one night, an old grudge you thought extinguished that flares up again in the middle of a conversation: Scorpio would find in this sector a ground worthy of it.
You would live your emotions with force but in depth, like an underground river. You would have a real taste for investigation, psychology, subjects others avoid, and might support someone through a dark period without telling anyone. Your confidences you would reserve for one or two chosen people.
Mars, the traditional ruler of Scorpio, shows by its house where this intensity pours out: in the 8th house, in shared projects and property; in the 10th, in a tenacious but discreet ambition; in the 6th, its joy, in relentless work. Pluto, added by the moderns, moves so slowly that it sometimes occupies a single sign for decades; its house would count for more than its sign. In Paris, the Ascendant is Sagittarius in a small majority of cases, and early Scorpio otherwise.
The downside would be closing off. By keeping everything, you might come to distrust everyone, test others without saying so, or brood over an old betrayal. On the opposite axis, the 6th house in Taurus offers a very down-to-earth counterweight: simple routines, a meal at a set time, a garden to water. These regular gestures would steady an inner life that tends to boil.
