5 and 7 together
In Fermier’s table, the 5 does not count the 7 among its numbers in harmony, so this pair falls under contrast.
That doesn’t mean they get along badly, only that their relationship calls for more adjustments.
What brings them together is real: neither likes ready-made ideas. The 5 wants to understand the world by traveling through it, the 7 by studying it. The first multiplies experiences, the second examines them, and one’s lived experience feeds the other’s analysis. Both also hold on to their independence, and neither asks for a presence at every moment.
The difference lies in tempo. The 5 needs stimulation, people, change; the 7 needs silence and time to digest what they live through. The 7 may find the 5 superficial, and the 5 may find the 7 distant or too wary.
This pair moves forward when the curiosity they share also applies to the way the other works.
