Pisces Sun, Scorpio rising: the meaning
November and March, two waters, answer each other at one hundred twenty degrees, effortless harmony.
Scorpio is fixed, it clings; Pisces is mutable, it follows the current. Mars, associated with Pluto by the moderns, rules the rising sign; Jupiter, with Neptune, the Sun sign. The person impresses with their reserve and gaze: they listen intensely, ask a question that lands just right, and you have the unsettling feeling of having been guessed in a few minutes.
The Sun resides in the fifth house, the one the Greeks called “Good Fortune”: works, children, pleasures, loves. This combination often has an intense creative talent, poetry, film music, painting at once dark and luminous, an atmospheric novel. It puts into its creations all the depth of its emotions, without cheating. It also loves passionately, and may live parenthood as an overwhelming adventure, with an almost absolute attention.
The downside would be submersion. Scorpio intensifies, Pisces absorbs; a passion can swallow them, a jealousy gnaw at them, an ideal shatter against reality. They then go from ecstasy to despair with no apparent transition. Taurus, in the west, would plead for simplicity: stable attachments, tangible joys, trust without investigation.
