Saturn conjunction Pluto: the meaning
On January 12, 2020, Saturn and Pluto came together at 22° of Capricorn, a few weeks before the world went into lockdown.
The earlier meetings dated from November 1982 in Libra, August 1947 in Leo, and 1914 in Cancer, the year the First World War broke out. Children born in 2020 almost all carry this conjunction: it sketches the climate of an era marked by crisis, gravity, and rebuilding, far more than a trait of character.
When it touches the Sun, the Moon, a personal planet, or the Ascendant, this conjunction would speak of extraordinary endurance. The person can hold on when everything wavers, rebuild after a loss, and see through an effort that others would abandon. They take life seriously, sometimes very early. They often have a keen sense of responsibility, a capacity to manage crises, and a taste for work in which you get through hardship: rescue, reconstruction, in-depth research.
The downside would be the weight: carrying loads that are too heavy alone, closing off, being hard on themselves in the name of high standards. They may also fear endings so much that they cling to what should change. Allowing themselves to ask for help, and recognizing what they have already overcome, softens this gravity. The area of the chart it occupies shows where this rebuilding plays out: career, family, money, commitments.
