Uranus sextile Neptune: the meaning
About thirty years after each meeting, and again as long before the next, the two planets stand sixty degrees apart.
The last sextile, a waning one, accompanied the mid-1960s, with Uranus in Virgo and Neptune in Scorpio: the generation of the dawn of personal computing, who turned twenty just as the first networks were being born. A new sextile, a waxing one this time, takes shape starting in 2025, with Uranus entering Gemini while Neptune approaches Aries; it will mark babies born around 2026–2028.
The cohorts involved are huge, and this sextile speaks first of the spirit of the times. In a person, it only stands out if it reaches an intimate planet. It would then suggest a creativity that knows how to put new tools in the service of a vision: technique serving the dream, invention serving the ideal. The arts, research, social movements, and open forms of spirituality often appeal to these natures, who like to pass on what they have discovered to younger people.
The downside would be dreaming of collective change without taking part in it, or contenting themselves with going along with the spirit of their time. A creation, an association, or a local initiative gives this shared sensitivity a personal and lasting form, and lets them see its effects around them.
