Uranus sextile Pluto: the meaning
About thirty years after the 1965–1966 conjunction, Uranus and Pluto found themselves sixty degrees apart, between roughly 1995 and 1998, with Uranus at the start of Aquarius and Pluto at the start of Sagittarius.
The children born then, who grew up with the mainstream Internet, mobile phones, and then the first social networks, largely carry this aspect. A sextile in the opposite direction had accompanied the mid-1940s, between Uranus in Gemini and Pluto in Leo, for the generation of the Liberation and the emerging baby boom.
For an individual, this sextile carries weight only if it reaches a luminary or the horizon axis. It would then suggest an ability to transform things deeply through new tools: platforms, technologies, unprecedented forms of organization. Aquarius and Sagittarius, signs of air and fire, combine here collective invention and a thirst for distant horizons. These people like causes without borders, online communities, and projects that connect people whom everything seemed to separate, and they readily learn a foreign language to widen their circle.
The danger would be believing that the tool is enough to solve deep-rooted problems, or settling for joining the movements of one’s time without contributing to them. Hands-on involvement, a creation, or a local association turns this shared sensitivity into a path of one’s own and reveals its concrete reach.
