Uranus trine Neptune: the meaning
More than half a century after each conjunction, Uranus and Neptune stand one third of a circle apart.
The last trine, a waning one, accompanied the years 1939 to 1942, with Uranus in Taurus and Neptune in Virgo, two earth signs. Those born during the Second World War carry it: a generation raised amid privation, then reconstruction, who saw the birth of television, the computer, and the space race. The next trine is not expected before the middle of the 21st century.
For an individual, it only counts if it joins a personal planet. It would then speak of a talent for uniting technical progress and human ideals, for putting innovation in the service of useful achievements. Earth, the element common to both signs, invites anchoring dreams in the concrete: building, caring, farming, teaching. People of this generation often tell with pride about the houses, schools, or businesses they helped build. A good part of this generation accompanied the modernization of the countryside and the cities.
The pitfall would be living on collective momentum without making it a personal undertaking. For someone in whom this trine is relayed, a body of work, passing things on, or involvement in an association give this sensitivity a lasting form. Telling younger people what that era of reconstruction was like is often a way of extending this talent.
