Sun square Neptune: the meaning
A person who changes direction three times before finding their path, who throws themselves body and soul into a cause and then turns away, disappointed, who fills notebooks at night with secret poems: the Sun–Neptune square has something of this search.
Neptune, the modern planet of the ideal, sits here at 90° from the Sun. Its sign concerns a generation, but this square touches only births grouped in two annual windows.
The person feels a gap between their current life and the one they dream of. They may doubt their worth, feel blurry, and look elsewhere, to a teacher, a partner, an ideal, for whatever would finally give them a form. As a child, they may have invented whole worlds to escape boredom or a heavy family climate. This quest is also a richness: it makes them sensitive, creative, and attentive to others and their wounds. Many artists and people committed to helping others describe this quest.
The downside is confusion. Idealizing a project without seeing its flaws, being taken in by a charming person, fleeing problems through reverie or screens: Neptune can cloud judgment. Astrologers advise checking facts, surrounding yourself with frank people, and giving your imagination a concrete outlet. Doubt then becomes a form of lucidity and a precious modesty.
