The planet of reason and the planet of dreams answer each other from 180°. A Mercury in Virgo and a Neptune in Pisces, each in its home sign, would set meticulous analysis against boundless imagination. Many children born in late summer between 2012 and 2026 carry exactly this configuration.
The person often experiences the imaginary through others. They meet idealists who inspire them, artists who open horizons, but also vague speakers, loose promises, and seductive speeches. These experiences oblige them to sharpen their discernment, ask precise questions, and verify before believing. The first commentators associated it with being deceived by others, swindles, false friends, and lying writings. These alarmist readings, typical of their time, appear here for documentary purposes, with no predictive value. A more spiritual reading was added: the rational mind invited to open itself to what exceeds it.
Current astrologers read in it a lesson in discernment. This opposition would teach a person to recognize their own sensitivity, without projecting it onto others or defending against it through distrust.
