Excess number 2: the meaning
Having it exceed a quarter of the name is therefore uncommon, and all the more telling.
In an inclusion chart, the 2 is carried by three letters, B, K, and T; apart from the T, these letters are rare in French. The 2 represents relationship: welcoming, adjusting, sensing what passes between people. When it overflows, this sensitivity partly turns against you.
You pick up everything: a sigh, a silence that lasts a little too long, a door closed harder than usual. These signals arrive in masses and need to be interpreted, which takes time and energy. The wish for everyone to be comfortable then pushes you to put off choices, to rephrase yet again, to hope for a general agreement that is slow to come. Your opinion does exist, but it comes after everyone else’s, sometimes to the point of disappearing.
An excess 2 is not a weakness of character. It is a highly developed relational quality that lacks a counterweight. That counterweight lies on the side of the 1, which dares to decide, and the 8, which accepts carrying weight in a decision. If these two digits are weak or absent in your name, the effect of the excess is stronger; if they are well present, they cushion it naturally.
The balancing work does not consist of dulling your attention, which would mean losing a real richness. It is rather about accepting that your point of view is useful information for the group, just like everyone else’s, and that a disagreement expressed calmly rarely damages a solid relationship.
When the Soul Urge number or the life path number is also 2 or 11, this sensitivity shows up at several levels of the profile: it deserves to be taken even more seriously.
